**Want to become a volunteer for MentexHD?**

Mentex Center for Human Development (MentexHD) is a non-profit charitable organization registered with the Bangladesh government (Registration No: S-4103205/04) that works for humanity. The organization conducts humanitarian services and welfare activities through donations and crowdfunding. To expand crowdfunding initiatives across Bangladesh, the organization is recruiting volunteers in various wards, unions, upazilas, districts, cities, and divisions across the country. Adult men, women, and students can apply to become volunteers, with preference given to those with prior volunteer experience.

**What volunteers will receive from MentexHD:**
• Volunteer Certificate
• Volunteer ID Card
• T-shirt, cap, mug, calendar

**Responsibilities and scope of work for volunteers:**

Volunteers’ primary responsibilities include updating social media posts and verifying campaigns. On the crowdfunding platform, volunteers’ tasks are divided into two groups: one group creates campaigns, and the other group makes donations. Mentex works to ensure the smooth functioning of this process.

A volunteer verifies the information of campaigners. For example, if Uncle Babul from Shahrashti police station needs funds for a kidney operation, the local volunteer in charge will verify the information. Once verified, the campaign is published, and doctors assist in the process.

**Other duties of volunteers include:**

– Participating in social development activities for the support of the poor, children, and women.
– Conducting awareness campaigns on health, education, and humanitarian issues.
– Creating content to promote the organization and increase awareness.
– Assisting in training programs, documentation, and preparing materials.
– Helping in tree planting, distributing winter clothes, and relief efforts.
– Learning about crowdfunding and informing others.
– Joining the MentexHD Facebook group and connecting people around you.
– Learning and teaching campaign and online donation methods.
– Keeping track of the advantages and challenges of your area and, when necessary, offering support through campaigns.

**Volunteer qualifications:**
– Age: 18-60 years.
– Interest in human development, sociology, or related fields.
– Good communication skills.
– Willingness to work voluntarily.
– Willingness to work at least 12-15 hours per week.
– Minimum educational qualification: Completion of JSC/SSC.
– Must join the MentexHD Facebook group.

**Work schedule:**

a) If someone from a volunteer’s area creates a campaign, they will be notified, and they can verify it at their convenience.
b) The schedule is flexible, but the work needs to be completed within the given timeframe.
